What is a reduced file and what is it used for?
It is a technical document that lists the essential characteristics of your vehicle (weight, power, dimensions, emissions, etc.) and is mandatory for registering a car, motorcycle, truck, or any other vehicle from abroad.
It is a valid alternative to the manufacturer’s certificate of conformity, with the advantage that it allows corrections to be made if there are any errors.
What documents do I need to apply for it?
To issue your reduced registration document, we only need the original vehicle registration document (if possible, scanned or in a legible photo) and some general photos of the vehicle.
You can conveniently upload everything using the online form.
Is it valid for any type of vehicle?
Yes. We issue reduced-size tags for: cars, trucks, motorcycles, vans, trucks, motorhomes, trailers, and caravans.
Each category has a different price, but all of them meet the requirements set by the Spanish regulations.
When will I receive my reduced file form?
We will send it to you by email in PDF format within a maximum of 2 business hours after receiving your documentation and payment. In the event of a high volume of orders, the delivery time may be up to 5 hours.
